Our very own Jewel fought last night in Bellator 162 and displayed all three qualities. Julia Budd defeated Arlene Blencowe with her impressive wrestling skills. As a loyal student of Gibson MMA and a powerful martial artist, Jules is an inspiration to all. Not only is she dedicated to the practice of MMA, training day in and day out, sometimes several times a day to hone her skills and technique, she is an inspiring human being. greeting everyone with a smile, anyone who has met Jules, immediately feels comfortable with her. She is one of the kindest human beings with one of the most generous hearts, always supportive and empowering her family, friends, students, and the people she comes into contact with.

Julia is a fierce example of what faith in one's self and the determination to work efficiently, effectively, and relentlessly can accomplish. We're proud of you Jules! Next stop is the World Bellator Championship! We're with you every step fo the way!

Summer Showdown III, presented by www.excitefight.com and the Tulalip Resort Casino in Washington was an exciting and heart pumping night for all!

Our very own Lance "Fearless" Gibson Jr. returned to the cage to defend his title as the Amateur ExciteFight Lightweight Champion via a 2nd round guillotine against the challenger, Dylan Aparis. Displaying his talent as a complete Mixed Martial artist, Lance used his striking, wrestling, and grappling to finish the fight at 1:20 in the second round. When asked, Lance will tell you that to him a true Mixed Martial artist is someone that is humble, respectful and professional. Having practiced martial arts since he was 2 years old under his father's coaching, Lance displays these qualities both in and outside of the cage every day. We're incredibly proud of you Lance and the Gibson family stands beside and behind you forever and always.

Howie "Super" Tan also returned to the cage to represent Gibson MMA! He fought and demolished Joseph Moise! This Clark Kent shed his glasses to demonstrate that he's a MMA first round killer as he won via armbar at 1:00 in the first round!

Mike Brackett rounded out the team to crush Rigo Rodriguez by rear naked choke at 1:47 in round 2.

Gibson MMA stands tall and proud as all of our fighters walked away healthy and undefeated on Saturday, August 6th.
