The weather is getting brighter and hotter and that can only mean one thing in Port Moody: Summer’s around the corner! This means that it's time to challenge yourself!

We always want to see our students strive to challenge themselves on a daily basis as challenges help us to grow and improve. Challenges provide us with opportunities to overcome fears, accomplish goals, and surprise ourselves.

This month we have challenged our Gibson Soldiers to train 2x/Day!

19 students from both the mens and ladies classes have accepted this challenge and we are excited to see which 2 Gibson Soldiers win the prizes for training the most during this next month!

Gibson MMA fight camps are under way for 3 of our Gibson Soldiers: Marko, Matt, and Howie. We’re looking forward to seeing them dominate in the ring on June 21st!

Rank Tests are fast approaching and will be held mid-July. For many our students this next month and a half will be a great opportunity to focus on and hone your skills.

Gibson Health Tip: Your body is in recovery mode after your workout. Make sure to eat foods rich in nutrients within 30 minutes of your workout. Try a wrap, chicken bowl, salad, or protein shake after your next class.
