The summer months at Gibson MMA started off with six of our students competing at Tough Mudder Whistler. This was a fun, and challenging event that tested our team’s mental grit. This July has been one of the busiest months in Gibson MMA history with full, energetic classes, and high intensity workouts. The Health Bar is soaring, from members picking up their daily meal plans, to local businesses placing their lunch orders. 

Our Gibson youth soldiers had a three-day rank test, which tested their knowledge, technique, and heart. The Gibson rank test is known to be the toughest test amongst martial arts schools. Congrats to all who completed this challenge.

On July 20th at Nooksack River Casino in Washington State, Lance Gibson Jr and Matt Depa both remained undefeated as they dominated their opponents to victory. Lance Gibson Jr showcased vicious ground and pound, finishing his fight in less than two minutes of the first round. Matt was fighting for the 135 lb Rage title belt, he finished his opponent in the 2^nd rd by KO with a knee to the body. Matt is now the Rage 135 lb Champion. Congratulations to our fighters!
